Come al solito, c’è un brano da ascoltare contenente tanti esempi.

10. Future Continuous – Our warehouses will be reaching capacity

Let’s review your production schedule for the rest the year.

We know that customers won’t be buying much in January or February, and it’s likely our competitors will be running promotions then too. I’d therefore like to be sure that we won’t be over-producing in the next six months, so filling up our warehouses with products that no one will be buying.

You predict that sales will be increasing month by month until the Autumn, after which demand will be falling each month until the Spring.

We‘ll be increasing production in May and June to satisfy this demand. You predict that by mid-July our warehouses will be reaching capacity, but you don’t expect this to be a problem because production will be falling again from July.

We‘ll be producing at a minimum in August with most of our staff away for their summer break, then in September the factory will be working normally again.

You‘ll then be adjusting production levels from October to December based on agreed minimum stock levels and on estimates you’ll be getting from the sales manager. Right?
