Chapter 5. Where’s Davide?
Amanda approaches two of Davide’s friends, Matteo and Carlo.
“Hi guys! How are you?”
“Hi, Amanda! We’re good! How are you? What are you doing here in Ferrara?”
“I’m fine, thanks. I’m here to give Davide a surprise. Do you know where he is?”
“Sorry, no, we don’t. We haven’t seen him for two days. Why don’t you have a glass of wine with us?”
But Amanda doesn’t want to stop and have a drink with them. She just wants to find her boyfriend and celebrate their anniversary!
Now Amanda is tired and confused. She doesn’t know what to do. Davide is not at home, nor at his office, or at the bar. Where can he be?
