Chapter 5: The Argument
The seconds pass, slowly, incredibly slowly.
The minutes go by even more slowly.
The hours, one by one.
Finally Marco speaks:
“Signora Marisa, your dog is too much! It barks day and night! When we get out of here, I’m emailing the condominium administrator about the terrible noise!”
“What are you saying?” Signora Marisa replies, “You and your friends stay up late every evening shouting and laughing. Poor Gegè is just tired. He can’t sleep because of the noise you make!”
“Signora Marisa, we’re supporting Napoli! And we’re stuck in this lift because of your dog, not because of Napoli.”
“Oh, Napoli this, Napoli that… And please, when you talk to me, take off your sunglasses. It’s so rude!”
