Chapter 4: Gegè’s Fault!
Why did the lift stop?
It was Gegè’s fault!
The small dog was wriggling nervously in his owner’s arms.
It accidentally pressed the lift’s ‘Emergency Stop’ button.
The emergency brake stopped the lift’s motor.
And now it doesn’t start!
Time passes: it might already be dark outside.
Marco hopes his friends are asking where he is.
Signora Marisa thinks her friends must notice she’s not answering her phone.
Gegè is barking. Signora Marisa tries to calm the dog down.
After four hours in the lift Marco is still wearing his sunglasses.
He’s very scared. He suffers from claustrophobia.
He wants to get out of the lift and to smoke his cigarette…
And he’s very angry with Gegè!
