Are you a dreamer? (What are your dreams?)
Do you wish things were different from the way they are? (How? What would you like to change?)
Or are you a practical person who accepts the way things are and tries to make the best of them?
(In what way..?)
Do dreams make us happy, or just make us sad?
What if climate change made your country much hotter/colder/wetter/dryer? (How would your life be different?)
What if rising sea-levels flooded the area where you live? (Where would you go?)
What if you won an enormous amount of money on the national lottery: say €500 million? What would you do?
What if you were told you only had 6 months to live? (What would you want to do?)
What if you met a famous politician (say, on a train), and he/she invited you to begin a career in politics. Would you take up the invitation?
What if you could travel in time, but just once. Would you go back to the past, or forwards to the future?
What if you were able to read people’s thoughts (like Mel Gibson in the film: “What Women
Want”). Would you “listen” to the thoughts of others?
What if a mystery virus killed everyone else and left you as the only human alive?
What if your country was being invaded by a hostile neighbour (or by ALIENS). People are needed to join the resistance and fight for freedom. But it’s dangerous: you could be killed, and your family too, as a punishment. Would you go to fight?
What if you met someone you found REALLY attractive… and found out they really liked YOU too. Would you leave your current partner and start a new relationship?
What if you found out that you would probably live to be 100, or older? (Would that change the way you plan your life?)
What if cosmetic surgery became so good that you could:
– look any age you like (always 25, for example)?
– be taller/shorter/slimmer?
– change sex?
Assuming you could afford it, would you change the way you look?
What if you had the chance to go on an interplanetary space voyage (maybe to Mars) but with a 50% chance of never coming back. Would you go?
What if you could be re-born when you die (just decide where, what sex, etc.). Would you want to do it all again?
