Intermediate level
Do you own any of these technological devices? Smart phone, computer, sat.nav., MP3 player (ipod), satellite TV…
Which is most important in your life? How often / why / when do you use it?
Are you part of a “social network” like My Space, Facebook or Instagram?
What “functions” of your life do you do “on-line”? (i.e. banking, meeting new friends, reading newspapers)
Everyone has a mobile phone now… What do you use yours for?
Do you : make phone calls? send SMS’s? check e-mail? access the internet? Play games?
Do you store data (your address book, for example) in your phone?
Do you use your phone for work? How? Does your company pay for your calls?
Do you watch things on YouTube? What?

Advanced level
Do you feel part of a “community” when you use the Internet? What “community” are you part of?
Is this a substitute for a more “traditional” type of community? (i.e. belonging to a club)
Do you BUY films and music, or do you download films / music from the internet?
Legally? How do you feel about “pirates” who copy films / music? Is it OK?
